TURNING POINT
Turning Point is a 90-day recovery center for chemically dependent individuals that embraces the foundational teachings and practices of the Bible. It is an interdenominational program working in conjunction with orthodox and evangelical churches. Turning Point is Christ-oriented with the focus on individuals becoming "New Creations in Christs" (II Corinthians 5:17).
Individual and group sessions provide guidance in achieving sobriety while developing self-motivation, identification and confidence in each student's life. Through spiritual, vocational and recreational interaction with others, a well-balanced, practical lifestyle is developed that lays the foundation for a successful drug-free life.
Students restructure their lives, learning to put Jesus first, on a peaceful, 8-acre campus in Thorsby, Alabama. After completing the 90-day program, students may return home or continue in an after-care program. Whatever they do, one thing is sure: their lives will have been changed.
Turning Point has offered hundreds of men the opportunity to break the chains of addiction and change their lives. As a result, families have been restored and communities strengthened. It’s from individual support, churches, civic groups and fund-raisers that Turning Point is able to give a new life to those who have been trapped by addiction.
